AU Stormwater Week

ASA is proud to support Auburn University's Stormwater Week. This annual event is a 3-to-4-day educational event hosted by the Auburn University Stormwater Research Facility. It brings together hundreds of contractors, engineers, and regulators for hands-on erosion control training, field demonstrations, and full-scale channelized flow testing. 
The event, held primarily at the Auburn University Stormwater Research Facility in Opelika, Alabama, typically features two main components:
  • Installer Training: Classroom instruction and hands-on field installations focused on best practices for erosion and sediment control.
  • Field Day: Live, full-scale simulated rainfall and channelized flow testing demonstrations designed to evaluate the performance of emerging technologies and common stormwater management practices.
Attendees have the opportunity to connect academic research with real-world construction site applications and usually earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for attending
